At Bearden Law, we believe that everyone should have access to justice. Too often we hear from our neighbors that they would have sought legal help if they only had some money to pay, but were embarrassed to show up at an attorney’s office without several hundred dollars to pay as a retainer. In some of these cases, by the time they raise the money, it is too late to help.
We have a business to run and bills to pay just like everyone else, but if we can point you in the right direction or give you the guidance you need to successfully defend your rights, we will. If you need an attorney but genuinely cannot afford one, we will do our best to work something out. We have also been poor, and we understand the frustration and powerlessness that can go with it.
Justice cannot be limited to those who have the resources to pay. Helping you is worth our time, even if that is a personal sacrifice for us. Come talk to us.
We prefer to do as much of our pro bono work as possible on Fridays from 9 am to 11 am at our “Coffee and Consultation” time, but sometimes we are unavailable during that time. It does not always work for our clients, either, so feel free to make an appointment for another time!
